Ooops...

Due to popular demand (you know who you are!) I have something to add to my previous post. On Saturday evening my Dad and I went to see The Enemy at the O2 academy in Bristol. Bottom of the bill were Kid British, a sort of Ska, Reggae and Punk mash-up kind of thing (I'll probably be told off for not appreciating and understanding their music!). Both me and my Dad enjoyed them a lot, they were definitely a hidden gem!
Then came Twisted Wheel, who, apart from a couple of thrashy wall-of-noise songs, were also quite impressive. However neither band held a candle to the experience of The Enemy in a small club. What a fantastic atmosphere! What brilliant musicianship! What a band! And what a night out! Highlights included "We'll Live and Die In These Towns" and "You're Not Alone". Just to finish...I want to be Tom Clarke, however small he may be!
