As you may know, last Friday (as in 10 April!) I travelled by coach overnight to Alpe D'Huez, a ski resort in the French Alps. 22 Hours it took us! And, to add to the long coach journey, I spent only 2 hours of it sleeping! It really wasn't the greatest journey ever know to man, or the most comfortable to be honest! But it was all worth it, and I ended up having a fabulous time as expected. Although the snow wasn't too great most days (to say the least), I found that my first time skiing in the advanced group to be challenging yet fun. Plus I had some great friends with me, so even when I wasn't skiing I was having a whale of a time with my mates, such as listening to hardcore gangsta rap! ;)
